Here I am with my husband, John
Teaching English is something I, Sally, love to do. I have been teaching and tutoring English and other subjects for many years, and delight to see people improve in their English communication skills.
I am a fully qualified teacher from the UK and also did more studies in America. I have a BA and a MA. I am presently continuing my studies in ESL and have started a PHD in another field. This really helps my English teaching as I have to be reading and writing at a high level much of the time. I began with children and my interest teaching English (ESL and EFL) grew through a five year stay in Germany, where I taught private and group English lessons. I also taught in a Kindergarten and in a major German business including teaching exam preparation (TOEFL), business English, travel English, conversation and also ran my own EFL teaching business.
I also have had the experience of attending language schools for French, German and Spanish. I understand what it is like being a student as well as being a teacher.
My base is now in North Carolina, USA for the time being, although I am British. I am at the moment branching out into the technical world of teaching ONLINE ENGLISH via Windows Messenger and SKYPE. I can also use Google Talk and Yahoo Messenger if you would prefer, although I like SKYPE best!!!!!!
My husband, John, and American from California, works for Verizon Wireless. He has experience in the business world and hopes to "jump onboard" with English teaching soon. He will be a great asset for those wanting more "technical" English.
I have left the most important until last. John and I have both given our lives to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and He is the foundation of our lives.
